Warehouse Workers in PLUS

PLUS, an important player in the Dutch food market with 270 supermarkets, is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Warehouse Workers in the city of Oss, the Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

• Review order specifications: Carefully review order documents, such as picking lists or electronic systems, to understand the items, quantities, and locations required for picking.
• Accurate item picking: Utilize your attention to detail and organizational skills to locate and retrieve items from designated storage locations within the warehouse, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
• Utilize picking equipment: Take advantage of our advanced picking equipment, such as handheld scanners or voice picking systems, to assist in identifying and verifying items to be picked.
• Pack items for shipment: Ensure the items picked are securely and appropriately packed for shipment, following proper packaging and labeling procedures to prevent damage during transportation.
• Maintain inventory accuracy: Update inventory systems or documents to reflect the items picked and removed from the warehouse, promptly reporting any discrepancies or shortages to supervisors.
• Verify order completeness: Perform a final check of picked items against the order documents to ensure all required items have been accurately picked before forwarding them to the packing area.
• Adhere to safety guidelines: Follow strict safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment and handling inventory to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Collaborate with team members: Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and shipping teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment and timely shipment preparation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area: Take pride in keeping the picking area clean and organized, ensuring that aisles and storage locations are clear and free of obstructions.

Work Conditions:

• Location: Oss
• Salary (Hourly Rate, EUR/hour):
  • Cleaners: €12.91 gross/hour
  • Expedition: €12.91 gross/hour
  • Emballage: €12.40 gross/hour
  • Goods Reception Workers: €12.40 gross/hour
  • Order Picker: €12.91 gross/hour
  • Outbound Controller: €12.91 gross/hour
  • Outbound Workers (Expedition Work): €12.91 gross/hour
  • Outbound Workers (Dolly's): €12.91 gross/hour
  • ReachTruck Driver: €13.42 gross/hour
• Overtime and temperature surpluses are possible upon request.
• Transportation allowances provided.

Requirements:

• Education: None specified.
• Preferred/required work experience: Warehouse experience is preferred. Similar job experience is beneficial.
• English level A2-B1 or Dutch level A1-B1.
• Highly motivated and physically fit individuals comfortable with heavy physical work.
• EU nationality
