Curtain wall fitters

Our client - a construction company that specializes in the design, fabrication, and installation of curtain wall systems for commercial and residential buildings. We are seeking experienced Curtain Wall Fitters to join our team and contribute to our success. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Job Summary:

As a Curtain Wall Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation of curtain wall systems, including framing, glazing, and sealing. You will work closely with our project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that the installation is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Install curtain wall systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Set up and operate hand and power tools, scaffolding, and other equipment required for the installation process.

• Perform accurate and efficient measurements to ensure precise installation of curtain wall systems.

• Assist in the fabrication of curtain wall components as needed.

• Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful completion of projects.

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

• Keep work area clean and organized.

• Attend and participate in training sessions and team meetings as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience installing curtain wall systems.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

• Familiarity with the use of hand and power tools, scaffolding, and other equipment required for the installation process.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines in the construction industry.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
